After a hailstorm, the last thing you want is a frustrating back-and-forth with your insurance provider. That's why we guide you through every step, helping you save money and get repairs done faster, without the stress.
How Insurance Works With Us
Notify Insurance
The best way to find out if your policy covers hail damage is to call and make a report. Your agent can guide you through it. If you have a PDR shop in mind, they'll tell you if they can work with them, or give you other options. Even if you're not sure, it's always worth checking; you may save a lot if your plan includes hail coverage.
Appraisal
If your policy supports hail damage repair, they'll send an agent to assess the vehicle and provide a repair quote based on the car's age, model, and extent of damage. This is also how they decide whether a car is totaled. A car is only totaled if repairs cost more than the car is worth. If they offer a buyout that isn't enough to replace your car, you can deny it and instead pay out-of-pocket for PDR.
The Check
Once your insurer decides the vehicle is worth repairing, they'll issue a check covering the repair, or most of it, depending on your policy.
The Repair
Whether your car is being repaired through insurance or you're paying yourself, reach out to Ultimate Finish. Our repair costs are often much lower than the insurance estimate, which makes us a great option for out-of-pocket repairs too. Once we agree on a quote, we get to work so your vehicle looks flawless and smooth again.
Deductible Assistance
Worried about your out-of-pocket cost? Ask us about deductible assistance — we help offset what you owe so getting your car fixed doesn't break the bank.
